High-quality wicks by the German manufacturer Henschkedocht are used in candles made from natural (soy, coconut, palm, canola) wax or from paraffin. Always choose a wick that matches the properties of the candle wax as well as the mould/container used and work with it according to the instructions for the given type of wax. After the resulting product has hardened, it’s necessary to shorten the wick to approx. 1 cm before lighting it. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Before crafting, always try making a test product and choose the right wick based on the result. Properties of a finished product may differ depending on several factors and the container diameter mentioned in the text is therefore only a recommendation.
