Rose wood candle wick with a metal holder 13x60mm

A rosewood candle wick with a metal base measures 13x60mm and is ideal for making candles from paraffin, soy or palm wax. Wooden wicks are used in containers and jars and should never be used in freestanding candles. Glue the metal base (included) to the bottom of the container and then fix either one wick into it or join both wicks into a cross. Once the wax has set, the wick should extend 4-6 mm above the level of the wax. Trim the wick before pouring the wax. A wooden wick burns with a low flame. During burning, the wick may discolour the surrounding wax and may also make a crackling sound, depending on the wax, dyes and fragrances used.
