Candle wick from rose wood with a metal holder size 30 x 80 mm is ideal for making candles from paraffin, soy or palm wax. Wooden wicks are used in containers and jars, they should never be used in freestanding candles. A metal holder (included) gets glued to the bottom of a container and one wick is then attached into it. After the wax has dried, the wick should be 4-6 mm above the wax level. Adjust the wick before pouring the wax. Wooden wicks burn with a low flame. It’s possible that the wick may dye the surrounding wax during burning and it can also make the sound of cracking wood, depending on the wax, dyes and aromas used.
