Rose wood candle wick with a metal holder size 13 x 70 mm is ideal for making candles from paraffin, soy or palm wax. Wooden wicks are used in containers and glasses, they should never be used in freestanding candles. The metal holder (included in the package) is glued to the bottom of the container and either one wick is attached into it or both wicks are connected in a cross. After solidification of the final product, it’s necessary to shorten the wick to approx. 4 - 6 cm above the wax level before lighting it. It’s possible that during burning the wick may colour the surrounding wax and it may also make a crackling wood sound, based on the wax, dyes and aromas used.
