Rapeseed wax for making candles in containers made of glass, ceramic, metal or other suitable materials. Melt the wax in a water bath, add colourant or fragrance, and pour into a prepared, pre-warmed container. The melting point is 40-46°C. Don't forget to choose a wick suitable for rapeseed wax and a metal wick holder to suit the diameter of your container. Before lighting for the first time, the candle must cure for at least 48 hours. Never melt it in a microwave! Never leave a burning candle unattended. For more information on candle making, take a look at the articles on our blog.
