Paraffin for making candles in moulds. Heat the paraffin in a water bath, add colourant or fragrance, and pour into the prepared mould. The melting point is 57–59°C. Don't forget to choose a wick designed for paraffin and a wick sustainer tab to suit your particular mould. Before lighting for the first time, the candle must cure for at least 48 hours. Never melt it in the microwave! Never leave a lit candle unattended, and place it on a heatproof coaster.
