Thanks to its characteristics, this polycarbonate mould in the shape of an angel is ideal for making candles. The mould’s size is 140 x 100 mm, it’s lightweight, but at the same time robust as well as durable and therefore can be used repeatedly. For making candles in polycarbonate moulds, only wax for moulds is suitable, as it has higher shrinkage and a candle can therefore be very easily taken out of the mould after hardening. Polycarbonate moulds are not heated before casting. To pull a wick through, you need to block up the wick hole at the tip of the mould using adhesive putty or classic plasticine, and stretch the wick using a centering holder on the other side.
