According to astrology, it has a positive influence on relationships and emotional stability. It is said to bring wisdom and inspiration. This gemstone is also often associated with intuition. Localities, forms of moonstone and history:

The most significant deposits of moonstone are found mainly in Australia. Other localities include Mexico, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Brazil and India.

In nature, moonstone occurs in the form of crystals of various shapes and sizes, but also as small grains or crumbly stones, which are usually found on coastlines or in river sediments. In any case, natural peach moonstone is said to have the strongest properties, which are widely used across various fields. On the Mohs hardness scale it rates 6.

In the past, peach moonstone in particular was associated with the energy of the sun and fire. In India it was, and remains to this day, linked to the sun god Surya. In Greece and Rome it was seen as a balance between night and day and was also regarded as a spark of the sun. Necklaces and amulets were made from it to protect against darkness.
