Griffin Nylon Power nylon thread with needle 0.6 mm/2 m purple No. 8 is used mainly for beading and jewellery making, for example with seed beads. The NylonPower range is twice as strong in tensile strength compared to standard nylon threads. It stretches by approx. 3-4% and returns to its original length once tension is released, which makes it possible to create strong, long-lasting knots. The reel also comes with a twisted stainless steel needle. This thread is a modern alternative to traditional silk threads.
