Create your own original sticker using the diamond painting technique, enjoyed by children and adults alike! By placing the little stones onto specific squares, finding the right colour and lining the stones up so the picture is as accurate as possible, children develop fine motor skills, patience and concentration, while adults often find hours of relaxation and relief from everyday stress in this activity. You can use the finished sticker to decorate a notebook, a diary, a laptop or a mobile phone, or you can use it for your scrapbooking.

How does diamond painting work?

On the self-adhesive base, the individual colours you need to use are marked with numbers or letters. The bags of stones (or “diamonds”) of the relevant colour are marked in the same way. Everything is also usually listed on the enclosed key. There is no need to worry about running short of stones – each pack always contains slightly more than you need. Another important tool is the applicator, into whose tip you can pick up a little wax, which allows the stones to hold securely in the applicator so you can place them exactly where they belong. You may also find a pair of tweezers useful for creating (you could also try tweezers with LED lighting) as well as a flat dish or tray for the stones, to make the work go smoothly.

Besides the base with the motif, most diamond painting kits in our range also include the applicator and a wax square mentioned above. You will always find the detailed contents of each kit in its description.

Given the size of the diamonds, this activity should only take place under adult supervision. Diamond painting is not suitable for children under 3 years of age.

Tip: Once your artwork is finished, do not forget to press the stones evenly onto the base (for example with a book or a small board) to make sure they are all stuck down equally well everywhere.
