UMTON oil ground 400ml

UMTON Oil gesso 400 ml is a white substance used as a ground coat on the surface for future oil paintings. Its purpose is to even out surface irregularities, create an optical base for the painting, and provide an intermediate layer between the paint and the support. This also significantly reduces paint consumption and increases the durability of the artwork. Oil gesso consists of levigated chalk, powdered white pigment, polymerised linseed oil, varnish and turpentine. Before painting, the primed surface must be completely dry.
