UMTON oil ground 400ml

UMTON oil ground 400 ml is a white-coloured substance that’s used as a surface primer for future oil paintings. The aim is to level surface irregularities, create a painting’s optical base and have a mid-layer between the paint and the base. Thanks to that, it also significantly reduces paint consumption and increases the durability of the work of art. This oil ground consists of chalk, powder white, polymerized linseed oil, varnish and turpentine. Before applying the paint, the oil ground-covered area needs to be perfectly dried.
