Sterling silver-plated wire 0,6 mm/50 g

This silver-plated wire, 0.6 mm/50 g, is soft, malleable and stands out for its rich colour and high shine, making it suitable for various wire-wrapping techniques. The wire is plated with pure silver, Ag 999/1000. Thanks to its properties and quality finish, it is particularly suitable for modelling, wire work, floristry, jewellery wire wrapping, wire wrapping or various other DIY projects.

This wire is also suitable for soldering. The wire is coated with a protective clear coating. The coating acts as an insulating barrier and prevents the solder from bonding with the metal. If using the wire for soldering, this coating needs to be removed first, for example with a suitable flux.

These wires are not suitable for making standalone jewellery findings or wire frames for Christmas star ornaments. When working with wire, you may also find wire-wrapping boards or jewellery pliers useful.
