Soap mass with shea butter is a basis for home production of cream soaps. This base contains natural unrefined shea butter originating in Africa, which gives the soap a slightly yellowish shade and a specific nutty fragrance. After chopping the base into 1-3 cm cubes, heat them in a water bath at the temperature of 70-75 °C or in a microwave oven (maximum power 50-70%). Don’t exceed 80 °C for melting and avoid boiling! You can then add aromas or dyes and other elements into the melted mass. If needed, keep the melted mass at 70 °C. It’s possible to add water up to 20 % of the product and oil up to 3 % of the product. It does not contain any ingredients of animal origin and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS). Not tested on animals.
