Product information

Diameter 10 mm, 999/1000 silver, is ideal for setting stones. It is designed to be worked into soft silver clay, and the piece of jewellery is fired with the prong setting in place. Only the base is embedded into the clay, while the prong itself can remain in the air. It needs to be worked well into the clay. The stone is set after firing. When annealing with a torch, keep the flame moving, otherwise there is a risk that the delicate prongs will melt.
