Mukhi is a name of layers of a woody seed of Rudraksha. Visually, they are sideways longitudinal lines on Rudraksha seeds that divide the seed into several parts. The rarity and price of Rudraksha depend on the number of the Mukhi. Mukhi occurs naturally when the seed grows. More expensive types of Rudraksha have 1 “Mukhi” or 14 “Mukhi” and more.
