Enamel is applied on metal bases, copper and silver are ideal. Silver clay is also suitable. We can use pre-prepared copper bases that we just need to clean in a solution of vinegar and salt. We can cut out our own shapes from a copper stripe. After cutting, sharp edges need to be smoothed out, holes for loops need to be punched or drilled in and it needs to be cleaned in the vinegar and salt solution.
