Plastic balls are used as a base for making any jewellery. For beading around, the selection of beads is very important, I myself recommend choosing beads with even shape. Most often I choose TOHO, Miyuki or PRECIOSA beads. My favourite stitch for beading around these transparent balls is peyote. I like these balls very much because they are lighter than wooden ones and their big advantage is transparency.
